Binx the Dog needs a home

Binx came to PPR as an emergency intake due to ingesting carpet.  Our wonderful vet got him into surgery a few hours after we picked him up and was able to successfully remove his carpet blockage.  Now this sweet guy is all healed and ready to find his forever home!  Binx is 10 years old and about 16 pounds of pure beauty.  Binx is house trained and leash trained, but does not particularly like to be crated.  He would do best in a home that can love on him, take him for walks, and allow him to sleep in bed.  Binx gets along with other dogs and enjoys playing with toys.  We feel that even a home with carpet can be suitable for Binx as long as he is not left unsupervised in the rooms with carpet.  It is a mystery as to why a 10 year old decided to make a meal out of carpet.  Won't you give this sweet boy a forever home?
